Starting in 2019, IceBear has been able to supply large quantities of hot water of approximately 100 degrees Celsius from the power plant in Steenwijk. This hot water is produced with residual heat from our power plant. The hot water can be used for environmentally friendly weed control, for heating swimming pool water or for cleaning purposes. If desired, the hot water supply can be provided with a Green Certificate officially certified by CertiQ.
